LAKE SHANNON DAM INSPECTION
On September 16, 2022 the dam inspection was completed by Wade Trim Associates, Inc. The purpose of the inspection is to evaluate the structural condition and hydraulic capacity of the dam as required by Part 315, Dam Safety, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended. The results of the inspection are detailed in the report as of October 18, 2022. Over the past two years the membership has approved various recommendations to ensure the safety of Lake Shannon's Dam and Spillway area.
There are no visually apparent deficiencies that may lead to imminent failure.
